Update your device
This firmware update aims to optimize your device’s performance and lifespan. Through bug correction and software enhancements, we will provide a better and more fulfilling IQOS ILUMA Experience.*All updates are available to our users free of charge.
**You can check that your device is up to date with the latest firmware version by pressing the device button 5 times for ILUMA and ILUMA PRIME and the off/on button for ILUMA ONE. If it is up to date, the bottom light of the ILUMA and ILUMA PRIME device will flash 5 times. For ILUMA ONE, all lights will flash 5 times.
How to update my firmware
You can update your IQOS ILUMA’s Firmware at one of our QStores, selected QPartners, and through the IQOS App, for Android and Web App.
To do so via IQOS App or Web App, you will need to first connect your equipment to your profile by following these steps:

Open the Web App and login with your IQOS Account

Go to “Menu”, then select your device and click “See More”

Go to “Settings” and follow the instructions to connect to the IQOS app via USB

After the device is paired, click “About my equipment”, and you’ll find “Firmware Update”. Then follow instructions.

Connect your equipment via USB, preferably, or via Bluetooth alternatively

After pairing, in the menu “My devices” click “Updates”

If there’s an update available, click continue and then “Start Update”
Where can update my Firmware?
Your IQOS ILUMA’s Firmware can be updated with an IQOS specialist. You can meet one by visiting on of our QStores, or selected QPartners, and they’ll help with any issue.
*Altenatively, you can update your equipment’s firmware through the IQOS’s App.
